چکیده
Presented in this paper is a conceptual design by computer simulation of monopulse reflector antenna with dual-circularly polarized sum patterns and linearly azimuth elevation difference patterns, which can be called semi-dual antenna. The proposed consists five-element feed prime-focus parabolic reflector. novelty the consisting square waveguide channel radiator rectangular radiators. separation dual circular polarization realized septum polarizer. pattern obtained feeding two waveguides opposite directions using coaxial probe. geometry requires only power combiners for comparator network while providing dual-polarized performance comparable to full scheme. concept shown simulation. designed first, then combined operates at 14.5–16.0 GHz, shows excellent characteristics: 36.1–36.7 dBc directivity 0.65 dB boresight axial ratio 32.6–32.9 dBi 1.56–1.66° crossover angle.

Design, Simulation and implementation of active dual-band dipole antenna using a series stub
In this paper, a new method for designing an active dual-band dipole antenna is proposed. The operating frequencies of the proposed antenna are 150 and 450 MHz that are usually used in military applications. Using a series stub is the main idea in the proposed dual-band antenna, where it makes an independent resonance frequency higher than the main resonance frequency of a conventional dipole. ...

This paper deals with the design and simulation of a RHCP Fabry-Perot antenna for 14.5 GHz. Based on transmission line model, partially Reflecting Surface (PRS) was designed so thatgain enhancement and circular polarization simultaneously obtained. PRS consist of a square loop and meander-line at the top and bottom respectively. In order to achieve the resonance condition in orthogonal componen...
متن کاملKa-Band Monopulse Antenna-Pointing Systems Analysis and Simulation
NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) has been using both 70-m and 34-m reflector antennas to communicate with spacecraft at S-band (2.3 GHz) and X-band (8.45 GHz). To improve the quality of telecommunication and to meet future mission requirements, JPL has been developing 34-m Ka-band (32-GHz) beamwaveguide antennas. Presently, antenna pointing operates in either the open-loop mode with blind pointi...
متن کاملDiversity Monopulse Antenna Based on a Dual-frequency and Dual Mode Crlh Rat- Race Coupler
A diversity monopulse antenna is presented in this paper. This monopulse antenna is based on a dual frequency dual mode ratrace coupler that has been designed by using Composite Right/Left Handed (CRLH) Transmission Lines (TL). The device has two input ports while the (Σ) and (Δ) outputs are interchangable at either of the two operating frequencies. In this way the monopulse antenna can work at...
متن کاملDesign of Thickener by Computer
A mathematical method for calculation of the minimum cross-sectional area of a thickener is presented by obtaining minimum laboratory batch settling test data, a function, which is called settling function, is derived. This function is found to be in the form of a polynomial of third order. The settling function and mass flux relation are used for the design of thickener. The method predict...
